The Brookfield Volunteer Fire Company is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide Fire and Medical Services to the Town of Brookfield. We are a group of mission driven individuals who bring diversity from various professional backgrounds.

To apply for Firefighter and/or EMS Membership you must:

  • Must be 18 years old.

  • Must successfully complete a background check.

After your Probationary acceptance you must meet the following requirements in the first year and throughout your membership :

  • Must complete and pass a full medical physical.

  • Must attend no less than 4 meetings during the company year.

  • Must participate a minimum of 20 drills during the year.

  • Must participate in at least 1 committee.

Membership types: Full member (Firefighter or Firefighter/EMS) and Auxiliary Member
