June 2024 Course Information: 

Welcome to the BVFC June 2024 EMT Class webpage! We are excited to announce that our next EMT class will begin in June 10, 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in pursuing a career in Emergency Medical Services or for individuals looking to learn new skills to help their community.

Our EMT class is specifically tailored to the needs of our local community, providing students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a competent and confident Emergency Medical Technician.

The Brookfield Fire / EMS  takes great pride in offering high-quality training programs, and our EMT class is no exception. Our course includes a comprehensive curriculum, taught by experienced and certified instructors. The class will be taught by leading instructors, Deputy Chief Wayne Woodtke, EMT-P, and James Cooper, EMT-P, who have years of experience in the field and are passionate about sharing their knowledge with others.

As a student in our EMS class, you will receive a variety of equipment to help you succeed in your training. This equipment includes a textbook, blood pressure cuff, penlight, trauma shears, and stethoscope.

At the end of the course, students will be eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) exam, which is required to become a certified EMT. With our comprehensive training program and experienced instructors, we are confident that our students will be well-prepared to pass the NREMT exam and excel in their careers and volunteer experiences.
