Michael T. Rafferty, 50, of Brookfield , died Thursday, December 29th. He was born September 19, 1961 in Danbury . Michael was the son to the late John C. Rafferty and Eleanor (Young) Rafferty. Michael worked as a paramedic for Danbury Hospital and was a past Assistant Chief of Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department, Candlewood Company. He was awarded Paramedic of the Year. Along with his mother, Eleanor, Michael is survived by his brother, Jack Rafferty and his wife Yvonne of New Port Richey, FL; his sister, Nancy Ludington and her husband Charles of Hudson, FL; two nephews, Eric and Thomas Ludington; his niece, Allison Rafferty and several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.
Memorial donations may be made in Michael’s name to the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department, Candlewood Company, which is located at 18 Bayview Drive, Brookfield, CT 06804.
