There were more than 30 successful home visits from Santa just before Christmas in Brookfield delivering presents to local kids with the help of the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Company. Santa stopped by homes on a fire truck surprising youngsters with a bag full of toys for Christmas.
The Santa visits were the first of a new annual fundraiser for the firehouse according to the Company Secretary Sara Ellis. “This was such a huge success that the firehouse will be offering additional visits next year”, stated Ellis. After registering, parents were called by a member of the firehouse to set the time for the visit and work out the details.
